Signs of Spring

Tulips

Brr.. it is cold outside, we’re talking 4 degrees celsius kind of cold. I’m writing this post and remembering that just this past week I shot the below photos. Hence, the title “Signs Of Spring”, as flowers make me think of spring. I can’t wait for things to get warmer, but in the mean time I’m going to try to hang on to these photos as a reminder that sunnier and warmer days are just around the corner.

Pretty Pink Flowers

It’s funny, I don’t think I’ve ever paid so much attention to flowers as in recent years. When I was a kid, I’d think it was soo silly that people obsessed about their gardens. I hated garden work (too many long stretches of childhood summers spent crouched over in the backyard pulling weeds, laying grass, and mowing the lawn). I remember thinking there are so many other things I’d rather do and I’ll be happy if I never pull a weed ever again. LOL!

Yellow Flowers

Purple: Can you spot the bee?

What do you usually think of when you think of spring?

Hope these photos brighten up your day. They make me happy just looking at them.

I love food, people and cats. I love reading about people's kitchen adventures, taking pictures of it, and sharing it with good company. I enjoy strolling, playing with cats on the street, chewing my food slowly, playing in the kitchen, curling up to a mug of hot tea and laughing with friends. This blog will include things I've done, eaten, seen, my interests, and anything else I can dream up. My hope is that you will find something you can perhaps relate to or enjoy during your visit here. Welcome to my world.
